Summer School 2023 – IEEE IMS PT

Objectives

Embrace research problems in the context of the application of smart sensors, instrumentation and measurement, IoT technologies at the level of social services, tele-health and beyond.
Provide know-how and experience on software technologies associated with intelligent systems for AAL.

Transmit to the master and doctoral students theoretical-practical and experimental knowledge about technologies used in the development of intelligent systems for life assistance, known as AAL. At the same time is considered the AAL applied data science and the evaluation of the characteristics and adoption of AAL.

About

Our annual Summer School, hosted by Instituto de Telecomunicações – IUL , Iscte-IUL and IEEE IMS Portugal Section, is dedicated to the core themes of our ongoing multidisciplinary research, which encompasses the fields of Science and Information Technology, and Architecture.

Each year, we gather international researchers, professors, and master and doctoral students to explore the latest advancements in essential topics such as Instrumentation and Measurement, IoT, Smart Sensors, Artificial Intelligence, Ambient Assisted Living, and Smart Healthcare, and much more.

The Summer School will be held at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, at Caiano Pereira Auditorium (Location: Building I, ground Floor).
