Carlos J. Costa, b. 1967, is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Operation Management at ISEG (School of Economics and Management), Universidade de Lisboa. He Holds a PhD in Information Systems and Technology – Information Systems and Database Systems from ISCTE in 2002. He was director of the Master in Open Source Software. Previously, he worked in ISCTE since 1993 and was researcher at Adetti-IUL, where hewas team leader of the Information Systems Research Group.
He is member of IEEE and ACM. He is chair of EuroSIGDOC/ACM chapter and faculty sponsor of ISCTE-IUL ACM Student Chapter.
